Duties and Responsibilities:

• Apply checks to customer accounts
• Process refunds, returned checks and bad debts.
• Must be proficient in processing invoices (incoming & verifying PO's or receiving tickets), posting to vendor accounts and processing cleared checks.
• Perform Journal entries and month-end for AP and AR areas.
• Input credit and debits to the accounting system in support of the payables work
• Investigates problems that vendors or purchasing agents have with obtain payment for bills
• Tracks company credit card charge and reconciles statements
• Compiles and sorts documents, such as; invoices, work orders, checks, vouchers, and substantiates business transactions.
• Collect on outstanding accounts

Qualifications:

• Strong Customer Billing, AR processing including AR Check, EFT and other types of payment processing
• Strong Collections experience
• Strong Account Analysis, Adjustments and Reconciliation skills.
• Ability to develop AR & AP Policies & Procedures.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must have positive attitude.
• Must be able to multi-task to meet deadlines
